A leading social research organization is seeking a Market Research Interviewer in Shrewsbury. This part-time role offers flexible hours for individuals who can engage with the community through vital research interviews. Candidates must have a valid UK driving license, be comfortable with technology, and possess strong communication skills. Compensation includes £20-£30 per interview, admin fees, and potential bonuses. Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.

You’ll visit people in their homes to carry out vital research interviews on important topics such as health, housing and transport. Using a tablet or laptop, you’ll guide conversations that capture real experiences of daily life in Britain. This is not a desk job – you’ll be out in your community, knocking on doors. People receive a letter beforehand, but they’re not always expecting you; some won’t answer, others will say no. That’s completely normal and part of the role. When someone says yes and shares their story, you’ll know you’ve helped create change that improves people’s lives.
This role is ideal if you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, admin, driving, sales or any customer‑facing role. You don’t need research experience. We’re looking for reliable people who enjoy helping others and want flexible, part‑time hours that fit around other commitments.
