Job summary
A leading care service provider in Clay Cross is seeking experienced Care Assistants for an on-site community care role. You'll support semi-independent residents by providing personal care, administering medication, and assisting with various domestic duties. With ongoing hours available and a supportive team atmosphere, this position is ideal for those seeking stability in their care career. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.21, increasing to £16.24 during unsociable hours.
Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
- Up to date mandatory training certificates.
- At least 2 professional references from care settings.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to residents.

- Handle meal preparation and domestic duties.

We’re looking for experienced Care Assistants to join an extra care service where each resident has their own flat within the building. The care provider delivers a “community-style” service entirely on-site, offering the same level of personalised support you’d expect in traditional community care—without the need to travel between homes.
Residents are semi-independent, but your role will include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, domestic duties, and occasional shopping trips in the local area. Some residents require double-up care and assisted moving using hoists and other mobility aids. Care is delivered through a mix of scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits, all within the same building.

- At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.

This role offers ongoing opportunities for the right candidate
We have Full and Part Time Opportunities available with usual hours being 14:00 to 22:00 on various days from Monday to Sunday
You will be paid £12.21 per hour with an enhancement to £16.24 per hour for unsociable hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
