Teaching Assistant – Pilgrim Academy

Fixed term until 31 August 2026 – 32.5 hours per week. Term time + inset days (195 days per year). Salary: £25,550 – LGAT 5 – FTE; Actual Salary: £19,034.75.

Responsibilities
  • Assist students, including those with SEN, to maximise access to the curriculum.
  • Work under the direction of the teacher in a class‑based environment using teaching aides and other methods of support.
  • Support and promote the Academy behaviour policy.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
  • Good standard of literacy, adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life.
  • Calm manner and able to work as part of a team; experience not necessary.
