The Exciting Role
A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Assurance Lead.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at Nelson but may be required to travel across sites.

You may already be involved in leading a curriculum and carrying out quality assurance activities or currently teaching and want your next career move to be into Quality.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Reporting into the Quality Assurance Manager to ensure the monitoring and progress of attainment of skills, lead to outstanding quality of education for learners across the College Group.
• Review, monitor and report key performance indicators for the purposes of the termly Curriculum Performance Reviews and for SLT reporting purposes.
• Directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, support curriculum teams to ensure early intervention activities are implemented, in a timely and effective manner, to ensure key performance indicators are achieved.
• As directed by the Quality Assurance Manager, carry out quality assurance activities including deep dives and complete and report outcomes for all quality assurance activities.
• Report into the Quality Assurance Manager, the outcomes for the Quality Cycles across the College Group provision.
• Work with curriculum teams to support quality improvement activities following quality assurance activities, reporting on consistency and compliance.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience of working within a quality assurance framework
• Detailed knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework
• Knowledge of, and proven ability, to deliver the curriculum successfully
• Knowledge of working with Awarding Bodies and their quality assurance processes
• Experience of providing an outstanding teaching, learning and assessment experience
• Have a highly responsive, flexible and adaptable attitude
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Display initiative, be positive and enthusiastic
