Job summary
An educational staffing agency is seeking an EYFS Nurture Specialist in South Bristol to support children’s learning and development during their formative years. The role requires working closely with teachers to create a nurturing environment, providing 1:1 support, and monitoring pupil progress. Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for an EYFS Nurture Specialist to work within one of our South Bristol Schools.
As an EYFS Nurture Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development during their most formative years. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
- Support teachers to deliver lesson content, adapting to specific student needs as required.
- Providing 1:1 and group support to children, especially those with SEN requirements.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
- Create and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, ensuring children feel secure and supported in their learning.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families, promoting a partnership approach to education.
- Ability to adapt your approach to meet diverse student needs
- Experience within early years (nursery/reception)
- PECs or Makaton knowledge
- Capability to build and maintain rapport with young children
