Early Years Foundation Stage Nurture Specialist (EYFS) – South Bristol

Frequency: Full Time

Teaching Personnel has an exciting opportunity for an EYFS Nurture Specialist to work within one of our South Bristol Schools.

As an EYFS Nurture Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children’s learning and development during their most formative years. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers to deliver lesson content, adapting to specific student needs as required.
  • Providing 1:1 and group support to children, especially those with SEN requirements.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback.
  • Create and maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment, ensuring children feel secure and supported in their learning.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families, promoting a partnership approach to education.
Desirable Experience
  • Ability to adapt your approach to meet diverse student needs
  • Experience within early years (nursery/reception)
  • PECs or Makaton knowledge
  • Capability to build and maintain rapport with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
