Hours, Salary and Benefits

• 18 hours per week
• £21 - £23.50 per hour (depending on experience)
• 28 days annual leave(pro-rata'd), plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with length of service

As a member of the Watling Street Practice nursing team, you will be working from our surgery in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our clinical team; someone with excellent communication skills, astrong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment.

As Watling Street Practice, our three sites are withinStony Stratford, Great Holm and Shenley Church End. We are part of the WatlingStreet Primary Care Network and have a community team including nurses, socialprescribers and social work assistant supporting our patient populations.

We strive to provide high quality, readily accessiblemedical and preventative health care within a well organised, efficient,up-to-date, friendly and caring environment.

• Assist in and perform routine tasks related topatient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
• Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Feno/Spiro/COPD
• Requesting pathology tests, for example urineculture, bloods
• Ability to do referrals to local services
• Following agreed clinical protocols withreferral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate
