Hours, Salary and Benefits

  • 18 hours per week
  • £21 - £23.50 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 28 days annual leave(pro-rata'd), plus bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with length of service

Main duties of the job

As a member of the Watling Street Practice nursing team, you will be working from our surgery in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes.

Job responsibilities
  • Assist in and perform routine tasks related topatient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs
  • Asthma/Peak Flow Readings/Feno/Spiro/COPD
  • Requesting pathology tests, for example urineculture, bloods
  • Ability to do referrals to local services
  • Following agreed clinical protocols withreferral to senior nurses or GPs as appropriate
