VACANCY FOR CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST IN SEXUAL HEALTH – SUNNY ISLAND JOB!!!

RIG is recruiting for a lovely sunny island, small health authority that requires a Clinical Nurse in Sexual Health to start ASAP.

We must obtain CV, references, and relevant Right to Work documents prior to application.

We invite applications from suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialists in Sexual Health, at the Primary Care Centre. The successful candidate will be dual trained in GU Medicine and Contraception. The appointment is for 2 years with a 12-month probation period.

We seek an enthusiastic and motivated professional with proven knowledge and at least two years’ specialist experience to join our clinical team.

The candidate should demonstrate experience in contraception counseling and provision, pregnancy testing, and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, including education and counseling sessions.

Applicants must have experience working in both community and hospital settings, with a record of continuous professional development in Sexual Health.

The candidate must possess post-registration qualifications in Sexual Health and a non-medical prescribing qualification.

The post holder should have excellent communication skills and work autonomously, providing advice on sexual health issues, performing microscopy, managing diseases, symptom control, outreach, and education.
