Overview

Abbey Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred care across a wide spectrum of health needs. Working autonomously and collaboratively with GPs and the wider clinical team, you will use advanced clinical and prescribing skills to manage acute and long‑term conditions, promote health and wellbeing, and contribute to service development within the practice.

Core responsibilities

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner you will act as the first contact clinician, delivering expert clinical assessment, diagnosis, prescribing and evidence‑based management of undifferentiated or complex health problems. You will support patients in managing minor and chronic conditions, promote self‑care and healthy lifestyles, and contribute to chronic disease management and same‑day access services. You will also contribute to clinical leadership, protocol development, audits and service improvement, supporting quality and safety across the practice.

Qualifications
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with active registration on the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register.
