You will join a dedicated team, delivering specialist psychological assessments and therapies. Ideal candidates should have clinical psychology qualifications and be registered with HCPC. Are you passionate about improving the lives of older people and shaping dementia care with compassion and innovation? We're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist or Psychotherapist to work within our East and Exeter Older Peoples Community Mental Health Teams.
Primarily based in our Exmouth team, the role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to multidisciplinary team working, delivering specialist psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for older people with complex mental health needs, cognitive impairment, and dementia.
This role offers the opportunity to deliver trauma-informed interventions within a psychologically informed community setting, supporting individuals through collaborative formulation, relational practice, and reflective approaches.
You'd also be welcome to collaborate on a range of projects and contribute to supervision.

The Practitioner Psychologist/Psychotherapist provides specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for older people presenting with complex mental health needs, dementia, and cognitive impairment. Within the CMHT, they contribute to multidisciplinary care planning, risk assessment, and support for carers.
