A healthcare provider in Rotherham is seeking a fulltime Health Care Support Worker to join their therapy team. The role involves supporting the delivery of patient care within outpatient services and requires candidates to demonstrate relevant qualifications and experience. The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent experience. This position offers a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 per year, pro rata, and requires a valid work permit to work in the UK.
We are looking to recruit a fulltime Health Care Support Worker to join our service at BreathingSpace. You will join our therapy team working within our outpatient services at BreathingSpace, covering pulmonary rehabilitation assessment clinics, classes and observation clinic. Pulmonary rehabilitation is a treatment for patients with long-term lung conditions who are aiming to improve their quality of life via exercise and education. The BreathingSpace therapy team is made up of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Health Care Support Workers. Our aim is to provide a high quality, efficient service to maximise peoples independence and function for patients with respiratory conditions. We have a strong commitment to MDT working, working very closely with nursing colleagues at BreathingSpace. We have a strong commitment to supervision, PDR, CPD and staff training and audit. We are looking for experience of working within community or acute hospital therapy teams would be desirable. Applicants must hold a valid work permit or be eligible to work within the UK.
