We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Retail team at Greggs as Head of Retail for the Pennines Region.

Reporting to the Retail Director, this exciting role will lead the profitable growth of the Pennines Region, identifying new sites and opportunities with a focus on delivering the Retail Plan. In return, we offer:

What you'll do

• Grow the business through organic and new shop development
• Drive high customer service standards across the Region

Business Development

• Lead new shop opening programs and liaise with property teams
• Develop new channels and expand across all day parts

Brand Responsibility

• Implement Brand standards and initiatives within the Region

Operational Excellence

• Improve operations through cross-functional collaboration

Leading the Regional Team

• Lead, coach, and develop the team, fostering a culture of leadership

Brand Standard Delivery

• Ensure standards in service, merchandising, food safety, and H&S are met

Cost Control and Profit Responsibility

• Manage sales and profit budgets for the Region

About you

Seeking experienced individuals with:

• Senior management experience in multi-site retail
• Strategic planning and innovative solutions experience
• People management and development skills
• Stakeholder engagement skills in large groups
• Adaptability to change and improvement
• Strong commercial acumen and target achievement
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and knowledge of AI tools
