Job description

Smile Education are currently recruiting for 2 Permanent IT Technicians on behalf of our partner schools within the Redditch area. This role will be full time Monday – Friday 8am‑4pm. The successful candidate will assist teachers and students in having the tools and technology that they need to succeed, and supporting cutting‑edge technology across multiple schools within the trust.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide hands on technical support across our schools
  • Maintaining hardware, software and network systems
  • Work closely with the Technical Lead and Service Lead to deliver reliable, secure and user-friendly IT services that underpin teaching and learning
The ideal candidate will have
  • Experience working in a school environment as a IT Technician preferred but not essential
  • ICT experience/qualification
  • A passion for working in a school environment •
