A leading healthcare institution in London is seeking an Assistant Childcare Practitioner to provide high-quality care for children. In this role, you will support team efforts to create a safe and stimulating environment. Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 3 or higher, experience with children, and a positive attitude towards professional development. The position requires shift work and offers competitive benefits.
The Trust provides an on-site Day Nursery, which is mainly used by our staff; however, the service is also available to the general public. The Charing Cross Day Nursery offers childcare places to children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years old.
Crucial to our success is the role of our Childcare Practitioners, providing high quality childcare, caring for children who attend the Nursery.Working in a nursery involves being part of a team and caring for babies and children up to the age of five. The Assistant Childcare Practitioners duties will be to provide safe, temporary supervision and care of young children. Providing a safe and stimulating environment for the children doing a variety of creative activities, taking them out on trips and generally making sure they are having fun whilst they are learning.
The Trust is strongly committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of its staff, patients and children. Due to the role, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and also a range of other recruitment checks.
As an Assistant Childcare Practitioner, you will be required to work shift patterns between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. Total working hours per week will be 37.5 per week. Many thanks in advance.
