Key Responsibilities

• Responding to the individual care needs of children
• Creating a calm and welcoming environment for rest, relaxation, and play
• Supporting the delivery of structured, pre-planned activities
• Assisting in planning and preparing engaging sessions
• Setting up and tidying away resources
• Supporting administrative tasks such as registers and daily records

About You

We are looking for a well-qualified and motivated assistant who brings energy, empathy, and professionalism to the role. The ideal candidate will:

About the School

The Compass School is an independent primary school in East Lothian for girls and boys from pre-school (nursery) to Primary Seven. Children attending the School enjoy its friendly and caring environment in which they can feel secure and happy and in which they are encouraged to succeed, developing confidence, skills and ability.
