This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Lawson Memorial Hospital in Sutherland.

As the Senior Charge Nurse for the hospital, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and managing the day-to-day operations of the hospital and the nursing team. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Ensuring the delivery of safe and effective clinical practice
2. Enhancing our patients’ experience of care
3. Ensuring the health and safety of staff, patients, visitors, and contractors
4. Implementing effective workforce planning within the negotiated budget
5. Delivering care within the agreed budget
6. Managing and developing team performance
7. Contributing to the organisation’s objectives
