Job summary
A healthcare staffing agency is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse in Westminster for immunisation clinics. The role involves administering flu vaccines, preparing vaccination equipment, and traveling to multiple sites. Candidates must be NMC registered with relevant nursing experience. - Experience in Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing required.
- Recent immunisations clinical update necessary.
Responsibilities
- Administer flu vaccines at clinics.
- Prepare and manage vaccination equipment and documents.
- Travel between sites as required.
Skills
Education
Occupational Health Nurse — Westminster (Locum) for immunisation clinics.
- Administer flu vaccines as part of the flu season schedule.
- Work to administer approximately 16 flu vaccines per hour.
- Attend 3-hour clinics (minimum) and travel between sites as required (25p per mile).
- Prepare and manage on-site vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents in a temperature-regulated box on arrival.
Location: Westminster. Status: Locum. Vaccination period from the end of September to around mid-December across England, Scotland and Wales.
- Competitive rate of pay with potential for lucrative earnings.
- One-to-one consultancy provided.
- On-site vaccination equipment and materials provided.
- NMC registration and pin.
- Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience.
- Immunisations clinical update.
- Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
