Daily / Monthly Responsibilities

Build and support platform engineering responsibilities, ensuring robust support integrated into standard incident processes as products mature.

Engage in hands-on coding, governance, and maintenance of systems.

Work as part of a scrum team to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Design and develop solutions to automate manual IT and business processes.

Modernize software development processes using CI/CD techniques to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.

Partner with key service providers to support the adoption of automation capabilities.

Collaborate with application health and information security teams to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Mentor junior engineers and students to build a strong, connected organization.

Support application teams internally and externally, helping resolve barriers related to building, deployment, and utilization of engineering products.

Develop sound solutions for complex technical issues.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

Proven experience in delivering software products.

Experience with programming languages such as Typescript and Python, with a strong background in either.

Willingness to learn AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch (prior experience not required).

A passion for AI and staying current with the latest research, trends, and technologies.

Operational experience maintaining and supporting internal products.

Experience working within a DevOps team and familiarity with modern practices like CI/CD, TDD, and SDLC.

Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working in an agile environment.

Proven ability to define and implement large-scale digital solutions.

Strong organizational and communication skills to convey complex technical topics clearly.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Experience deploying AI solutions in real-world applications.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) and AI tools.

Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Packer.

Knowledge of cloud cognitive services (Azure Vision, Google Vision AI).

Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.

Experience supporting digital platforms, including integrations, release management, testing, and data obfuscation.

Additional Information:

Travel may be required occasionally.
