Vehicle Technician - Join Our Skilled Team

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vehicle repairs, following approved methods and guidelines to ensure optimal outcomes. Your expertise will be key in diagnosing issues efficiently, completing repairs within designated timeframes, and ensuring that all work is accurately documented to meet company policies and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out vehicle repairs in line with manufacturer instructions, focusing on efficiency and adhering to set timeframes.
  • Use materials and consumables efficiently while following supplier guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of repairs, including downloading repair instructions from ISTA, in accordance with company standards.
  • Continuously improve your skills through ongoing learning and training.
  • Take ownership of each vehicle repair, ensuring accountability throughout the process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team, workshop, and management to ensure seamless communication and task completion.
  • Remain flexible in handling various duties and shift schedules.
  • Comply with relevant working time regulations and complete required training as needed.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 City and Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the motor trade.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, especially under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Full, valid driving license.
  • Solid education, including core GCSE subjects.
