Job summary
An established building services company in Cambridge is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a healthcare portfolio. The role involves carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance with a focus on HVAC systems and plumbing. Ideal candidates are mechanically qualified and have a strong background in commercial building maintenance. The position offers £25 per hour, Monday to Friday, and is temporary with a minimum of 8 weeks.
Qualifications
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
- Multi-skilled in various maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Maintain HVAC systems and emergency lighting.
- Manage plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets.

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Cambridge. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based covering a healthcare site in the Cambridge area. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.
Monday - Friday
08:00am - 17:00pm
Pay: £25 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Temporary ongoing
- Planned and reactive maintenance
- HVAC Systems
- Emergency lighting tests
- Control Panels
- Changing Ballast
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Mechanically qualified City & Guilds - Level 2
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
