An educational institution in Bedford is seeking a Lecturer in Construction to teach and assess students in various construction disciplines. The ideal candidate will have the relevant qualifications and experience, and will be committed to student success and professional standards. This role offers a salary between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum, alongside various benefits including annual leave and pension options.
Role: Lecturer - Construction (Technical and Professional)
Location: Bedford College - Cauldwell Street Campus
Salary/Benefits: Salary is between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum (Pro‑Rata) DOE and Qualifications, 45 days annual leave (Pro‑Rata) plus Bank holidays, Teacher’s pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses. Note – Salary and Annual Leave entitlement is for that of a Qualified Lecturer.
Contract Type: UK based contract. You must have the Right to Work in the UK. Sponsorship is not offered and any offer of employment will be subject to evidence of this right.
About the role: We are currently seeking a Lecturer in Construction to join our Construction department at The Bedford College Group.

Bedford College has sites across the town and surrounding areas, including our main Cauldwell Street campus, a hair and beauty salon on the High Street, an advanced automotive centre on Brunel Road and a gas and technology plumbing centre in Kempston.
The Bedford College Group was formed in 2017 after the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College. It is now the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 15,000 students each year. The Group comprises Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College, Tresham College, Shuttleworth College, the Bedford Sixth Form, the Corby Sixth Form (opened September 2023) and the National College for Motorsport (alongside Silverstone race circuit). It also has community-based Learning Centres in Bedford, Corby and Kettering.
