Located in the iconic Beetham Tower, The Manchester Deansgate Hotel offers modern luxury with 279 rooms and stunning skyline views. Amenities include sky bar Cloud 23, a 2 Rosette Podium Restaurant, an indoor pool, and a fitness centre. With 14 meeting rooms and over 1,800 sq ft of event space, it is ideal for business and leisure travelers. The hotel will transition to the InterContinental brand by 2027, enhancing its luxury offerings.

As a full-time Meetings, Groups and Events Executive, your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong client relationships through regular contact via phone, email, and in person (experience in a commercial team, ideally at a 4 or 5-star property, is preferred).
• Responding to M&E enquiries to maximize sales, occupancy, and revenue, including up-selling hotel facilities.
• Managing bookings via the in-house system, creating confirmations and contracts with high attention to detail to ensure brand standards and revenue maximization.
• Collaborating with clients to gather event details and providing excellent service through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
• Inputting enquiries into the sales system accurately.
• Working closely with the commercial team and the wider hotel staff.
• Handling complaints effectively through prevention, recovery, and investigation, demonstrating problem-solving and guest care skills.

This role typically operates Monday to Friday during office hours, with weekends and evenings required as needed. Overtime hours will be paid.
