Senior Marketing Manager – Drive Campaigns, Inspire Growth

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands College for a Senior Marketing Manager (College Campaigns) to lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns that drive student recruitment, brand engagement and customer experience.

In this position, you will manage a small, high‑performing team and oversee campaigns across digital, social, CRM, paid media, events and website channels. You will play a pivotal role in transforming the end‑to‑end customer journey from enquiry to enrolment, championing innovation through automation, AI and digital technology to improve conversion, experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of fully integrated, multi‑channel marketing campaigns.
  • Deliver campaigns across digital marketing, website content, CRM, email, social media, paid media and events.
  • Ensure alignment with Oaklands College brand and strategic objectives.
  • Manage campaign budgets and demonstrate ROI.
  • Support recruitment to 16–19, adult learning and higher‑level skills provision.
  • Use insight and data to optimise campaign performance and improve conversion outcomes.
  • Transform the enquiry‑to‑enrolment journey, increasing use of automation and AI‑enabled tools.
  • Oversee strategic development of the College website, optimising SEO, UX and content performance.
  • Line manage and develop a small marketing team, fostering collaboration across design, Wolves Sports Academies marketing and Admissions.
  • Deliver clear and effective internal and external communications, acting as a trusted adviser to stakeholders.
  • Manage agencies and external suppliers to ensure high‑quality delivery.
Is This You?
  • Senior marketing or campaign management experience, including working with agencies.
  • Proven track record of delivering integrated campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and conversion funnels.
  • Line management experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, CRM and automation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable
  • Experience in the FE or HE sector.
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven marketing tools.
  • Website and UX optimisation expertise.
  • Budget management experience.
