As the Marketing Assistant, you will support the marketing team with the execution of marketing plans for the allocated category. You will help build relationships with brand partners, develop plans, support execution and reporting on performance.

Department: The role sits within Space NK's marketing department, which is responsible for creating campaigns that engage current customers and drive new customer acquisition. The department comprises four teams: brand partnerships, brand marketing, content and digital marketing.

The role is advertised as part of the Skincare team, with roles across three categories available: Skincare; Bath & Body, Sun & Hair; Own Brand.

The marketing assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing team with the execution of marketing plans for the allocated category. The marketing assistant will play a key role in building relationships with our brand partners, developing plans, supporting with execution and reporting on performance.

• Attend meetings for the allocated category, recording and sharing notes and key actions
• Create presentations to display marketing plans to support the allocated category in line with Space NK look and feel
• Brief in marketing assets to design, copy and printers ensuring process aligns with the critical path
• Support the marketing team to deliver marketing activations for the allocated category including packing goody bags, attending events, actively engaging the public to drive participation and brand awareness
• Support relationships with brand partners, ensuring they are aware of upcoming Space NK activity and have the right assets to support marketing from their channels
• Assist with internal communications and campaign briefings to relevant teams across Space NK, ensuring stores are informed and aligned on upcoming launches and marketing events for the allocated category
• Distribute product samples from brand partners to internal teams for use across all marketing touchpoints
• Create reports to illustrate the performance of marketing activity
• Stay up to date on beauty and retail trends, conduct regular competitor research and industry analysis to ensure the marketing team tries new initiatives
• Support the marketing team with general administration tasks

You may be required to travel within the UK and work some evenings and weekends dependent upon the event schedule for the allocated category. Time will be given in lieu.
