Job summary

Qualifications

- Connaissance des matériaux, des coûts du travail et de la chaîne d'approvisionnement.
Responsibilities
- Préparer des estimations de coûts précises pour les soumissions d'appels d'offres.
- Analyser les documents d'appel d'offres et fournir des décompositions détaillées.
- Soutenir la gestion senior dans la prise de décisions stratégiques.

Pinnacle are supporting a client who has gone through a period of growth. Theyare looking for an Estimator who has experience working in the Rail infrastructure industry. Our client is part of the tier 1 Network Rail Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for planned maintenance tenders.
- Work closely with clients, to understand project scope and requirements.
- Liaise with the project team and supply chain to obtain accurate pricing and ensure value for money.
- Analyse tender documents and provide detailed breakdowns of all costs, including labour, materials, and overheads. Manage the tender submission process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Provide cost advice and solutions to the project team to support the successful delivery of projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry standards to ensure competitive tender submissions.
- Support senior management in strategic decision-making related to tenders and pricing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the Rail Infrastructure space.
- Experience preparing accurate tenders, with a focus on cost estimation, bill of quantities, and pricing.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, labour costs, and the supply chain.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
The work location can be anywhere in the UK.
Salary is £65,000k- £85,000k, Plus allowance andbenefits.
