A FMCG manufacturing business are seeking an experienced Shift Production Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving success, innovation, and excellence. Working a panama shift pattern Days & Nights

Salary £50,000 to £60,000 dependent on experience.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and motivate teams to create a high-performance culture, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are always prioritised.
• Oversee all aspects of shift operations, from production planning to ensuring compliance with internal and external quality standards.
• Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and procedures.
• Manage manpower resources effectively, ensuring team members are trained, supported, and motivated to succeed.
• Report and act on machinery breakdowns, working closely with engineering teams to minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Your Experience & Background:

• Proven experience in manufacturing management, ideally within the food and drink sector or a similar high-volume FMCG environment.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams while managing performance and development.
• A solid understanding of improvement techniques such as continuous improvement, Kaizen, or lean manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, practical approach to challenges.
• Relevant qualifications, such as a management degree, NVQ, ILM certification, or equivalent experience.
