Job Title : Production Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and support the set-up of a new production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality output, efficient production processes, and strong leadership of a growing production team.

My client is a business that Manufactures a range of Electrical & Electronic Products therefore a successful candidates will have knowledge and experience having worked in a similar / related business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and organise detailed production schedules to meet project requirements.
  • Evaluate project demands and identify necessary resources for efficient delivery.
  • Prepare, negotiate, and agree on budgets and timelines in collaboration with project managers.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards and regulations are consistently upheld.
  • Establish and maintain robust quality control measures across all production activities.
  • Manage and oversee day-to-day production operations to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Adjust and re-negotiate schedules or deadlines when required to accommodate changes.
  • Select, order, and procure materials and components when needed.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repair of production equipment to minimise downtime.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with buyers and project managers as necessary.
  • Lead, supervise, and support junior production staff to ensure strong team performance.
  • Identify training needs and arrange appropriate training sessions for staff development.
