Job description

The Manufacturing Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring production activities to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key liaison between production, planning, purchasing, engineering and quality teams to ensure schedules are met, materials are available and production targets are achieved while maintaining safety and quality standards.

  • Coordinate with all relevant departments (Manufacturing / AME / Commercial / Supply Chain) and monitor upcoming production and adjust schedules as needed to address delays, equipment issues or material shortages.
  • Coordinate daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and operational goals.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure materials and tooling are available to execute manufacturing plans.
  • Responsible for backlog daily management and data accuracy.
  • Input data and report on the planning change log.
  • Assist with contingency planning if external issues arise.
  • Weekly new order review meeting and action tracking.
  • Raise purchase order requests for material and tooling.
  • Supply and demand monitoring.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, documentation and records.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise and varying temperatures.
  • Work flexible hours or overtime as needed.
