A highly commended law firm, ranked in The Legal 500 and Chambers UK, is seeking a Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitor (NQ to 2 years PQE) to join its prestigious Commercial Disputes team in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to join a top-tier firm known for exceptional client service. The Contentious Probate team, recently strengthened by a leader with over 25 years of experience, is expanding due to growing demand.
The Role :

• As a Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitor, you will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of contentious trust and probate matters, including will disputes, inheritance claims, and contested estates.
• You will represent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and negotiation.
• This role requires a comprehensive understanding of trust and probate law, strong advocacy skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service.

Requirements :

• Possess or be working towards an ACTAPS qualification (preferred), showcasing a commitment to specialization in contentious probate law.
• Exhibit a high level of enthusiasm and dedication, with a proactive approach to work and an eagerness to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the team.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external contacts, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage complex legal matters.
