Job title: Senior Residential Property Solicitor

Location: Reading

Salary: £70,000-£85,000+

PQE Level: 5+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused 5+ PQE Residential Property Lawyer to join our client's thriving Thames Valley team in Reading. This is a key opportunity for a senior lawyer with strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to contribute to a high-performing, service-driven practice.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of non-contentious residential property matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages and transfers of equity
  • Voluntary first registrations
  • Lease extensions and associated title work

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential property transactions with minimal supervision
  • Supervise and support junior team members
  • Deliver high-quality, tailored legal advice with a strong focus on client service
  • Contribute positively to team culture and knowledge sharing
  • Engage in business development and cross-referral opportunities across the firm

Working closely with colleagues, you will help maintain the team's reputation for excellence and responsiveness. You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the team's ongoing development.
