Employment Law Solicitor – Manchester (Hybrid)

Instructed by a respected law firm in Greater Manchester, our specialist legal recruitment team is currently retained on an exciting opportunity for an Employment Law Solicitor to join a dynamic, close-knit employment team.

• Work across both respondent and claimant employment law matters within a friendly and forward-thinking legal team.
• Advise and represent clients on a wide range of employment law issues including contract law, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy and restructuring, discrimination and harassment, and day-to-day HR advisory work.
• Be involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters and contribute to business development initiatives within the team.

We are seeking applications from qualified solicitors with ideally 2-5 years' PQE in employment law, although strong NQ solicitors with prior employment law paralegal experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Empathetic and client-focused approach, particularly when dealing with sensitive matters
• Strong negotiation, drafting and advisory skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, organised working style
• Up-to-date knowledge of employment law legislation and practice
