Job summary

A local authority shared service is seeking an Adult & Education Lawyer for an initial period of three months. This role involves managing a mixed caseload related to SEN children and providing legal advice on various matters. Ideal candidates will have a current practising certificate and preferably some local government experience. Competitive hourly pay of £40-55 based on experience.

• Handle Education, Health & Care Plans for SEN children.
• Provide expertise in SENDIST Tribunal cases.
• Advise on matters related to funded special school transport.
• Manage cases involving DOLs and Court of Protection for Adults.

This is a mixed caseload and therefore you will need to provide advice in both areas.
