Ultrasound Technician / Field Service Engineer
Our client is the UK’s leading independent expert specialising in the repair and servicing of electronic medical equipment and instrumentation – specifically ultrasound machines. They have earned a deserved reputation for the quality of the service they provide, achieved through continual investment in cutting‑edge technology and a well‑trained, motivated workforce.
Due to an internal promotion the company is now looking for a Trainee Service Engineer / Ultrasound Technician to carry out a dual role of Planned Preventative Maintenance on client premises and simple probe repairs in the workshop. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out preventative maintenance on client sites across the UK (typically hospitals). This involves working approximately 3 days a week at the client sites, with time at home at night.
- Providing advice and support to customers.
- Delivering and collecting loan equipment for customers.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with customers.
- Repairing probes in the workshop.
Our client is seeking a strong team player who is eager to learn and build a career. Desired attributes include:

Depends on experience. 10 % performance‑related bonus.
