Job summary

A dedicated charity organization is seeking passionate Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) in Warwickshire to support high-risk victims of domestic violence. Role Overview

Caritas Futures is proud to support a renowned charity dedicated to combating domestic violence. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVAs) for temporary roles based in Warwickshire.

As an Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA), you will provide specialist support to high-risk victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. Working both remotely and on-site, you will undertake risk assessments, safety planning, and liaise with multi‑agency partners to ensure the safety and well‑being of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for high-risk domestic abuse cases.
  • Develop and implement tailored safety and support plans.
  • Work closely with law enforcement.
  • Provide emotional support and practical assistance to survivors of domestic abuse.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their needs and safety are prioritized.
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience working as an IDVA or in a similar advocacy/support role.
  • A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and risk management.
  • Ability to work flexibly in a hybrid environment (remote and in-office in London).
  • Commitment to the well‑being and safety of vulnerable individuals.
