Our client, an independent family-run Structural Engineering consultancy based in Chorley, Lancashire, is seeking a Structural Technician/Engineer to join their team full-time.
The company has a strong reputation with repeat clients in the Industrial, Commercial, Power, and Attraction sectors.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a consultancy environment, proficient in AutoCAD and Revit, with some understanding of engineering calculations, and interested in further training to develop into a full engineer.
- Hold a minimum of an ONC in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
- Experience with Revit in the UK structures environment and at least 5 years in civil and structural engineering firms.
- Experience modeling existing masonry structures and new RC concrete/steel framed buildings.
- Ability to create project templates and filters to in-house standards.
- Ability to produce 3D BIM models to Level 2 Standard, following in-house BIM specifications.
- Strong engineering knowledge and understanding of key structural principles.
- Experience modeling large-scale and refurbishment projects.
The company offers a salary of £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits, with potential extension depending on experience. The role is full-time from the office, with free onsite parking. Salary packages can extend to £35,000 - £45,000 for more experienced candidates, including 25 days of annual leave and employer pension contributions.
