A renowned interior design studio in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a Senior Interior Designer with a passion for luxury residential and commercial projects. The role involves creating detailed designs, managing multiple projects, and guiding junior designers. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp, and a degree in a relevant field. An attractive salary package and benefits are offered.
Our client are an renowned interior design studio who has won multiple awards for their stunning projects in the UK; Currently in search for a well-rounded Senior Interior Designer, who has experience in luxury residential and commercial projects, to join their team in Newcastle.
You will ideally be a confident, passionate designer with strong technical skills, able to manage multiple projects, mostly high-end residential, with occasional boutique and hospitality work.
In this role, you’ll create FF&E plans, detailed drawings (layouts, elevations, joinery) and lead smaller projects independently when required. As a senior designer, you’ll be involved in client presentations, guiding junior designers, and maintaining key relationships with clients and suppliers. You'll also inspire the team and ensure high-quality design packages.
The Senior Interior Designer will ideally have the following attributes :
A degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or relevant qualifications.
At least 5years of professional experience in high-end interior design.
Proven track record of designing and leading large scale projects.
Knowledge of high end residential FF&E and strong technical design.
Experience leading UK and international projects from concept to completion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.
An interest in contributing to new business development and being client-facing.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.
The starting salary will pay between £35,000-£45,00 plus 25 days annual leave, bonus, WFH, flexible hours, professional fees paid if required, on going progression and support, pension, and a decent place to work!
