About The Role

Reporting to a Team Lead in the frameworks team, you will play an important role in designing, implementing, optimizing, maintaining, and supporting the software that ensures Graphcore hardware enjoys first-class support in popular machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch.

As a graduate framework engineer in our team, you will learn what it is like to be part of a SCRUM team working on delivering new features, working on, e.g., performance optimizations, reviewing code changes, writing technical documentation, working with upstream communities, and supporting users.

We have a very collaborative culture, and you will be in a position where you can learn from very talented engineers operating at the cutting edge of the machine learning industry. In our frameworks team, we endeavor to offer the opportunity to do two “temporary rotations” during your graduate programme, so that you can also learn from other teams.

About You

We are looking for a talented and passionate graduate to join the ML Frameworks team here at Graphcore. You are not expected to know everything when you start, but you are expected to be driven, proactive, and keen to learn. It is beneficial but not essential for candidates to have a working knowledge of C++, Python, and AI/ML.

• On track or achieved a 2:1 or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related subject area
