iO Associates are hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer on behalf of our client to support a long-term engagement in the National Security space.

Due to the nature of the project, active UK*C DV clearance is essential. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants without this level of security clearance.

Day Rate:£625 to £700 per day (Inside IR35) /£550 - £600 per day (Outside IR35)
Location:Gloucestershire
Duration:12months

This is a hands‑on role that demands curiosity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for building meaningful tech.

We don’t expect you to tick every box, but the more you bring, the better:

• Proficiency in one or more core languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, or C++
• Hands‑on experience with at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Understanding of backend technologies like Node.js, Uvicorn, or Nginx
• Comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools like Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation
• Scripting knowledge in Bash, PowerShell, or similar
