We’re recruiting an eDV-cleared Software Developer to join a secure, high-profile programme delivering and enhancing database-driven applications and integrations. You’ll be building and supporting solutions using Oracle APEX, SQL/PLSQL, and RESTful/API integrations, working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.

Developing and enhancing applications using Oracle APEX

Writing and optimising SQL / PLSQL (packages, procedures, functions, performance tuning)

Building and supporting RESTful integrations and API connectivity between systems

Supporting end-to-end delivery: requirements shaping, build, testing, release and BAU support

Troubleshooting and resolving application/data issues, improving stability and performance

Producing clear technical documentation and contributing to engineering best practices

Active, transferable eDV clearance (mandatory)

Strong commercial experience as a Software Developer in database-led environments

Hands‑on capability with:

Oracle APEX

SQL / PLSQL

RESTful integrations

APIs (design, consumption, troubleshooting)

Cloud exposure: AWS

Additional development languages: Python / Node.js / Java

Front‑end frameworks: React / Vue

Delivery tooling: CI/CD pipelines

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform / AWS CDK

Source control: Git
