Job summary
A construction recruitment agency is seeking experienced Kitchen Fitters for ongoing refurbishment projects across the West Midlands, including Birmingham and Coventry. The role involves full kitchen fitting and a variety of joinery tasks. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, proven experience, and a strong eye for detail. This is an immediate-start opportunity with secure work lasting through March, with potential for extension.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in refurbishment, fit-out, or maintenance work.
- Competent in both first and second fix joinery and full kitchen fitting.
- CSCS card preferred but not essential.

Start: ASAP | Duration: 4 Months (potential extension)
We are seeking experienced Kitchen Fitters / Carpenter Joiners to join our team for ongoing refurbishment and fit-out projects across Birmingham and Coventry. This is an immediate-start opportunity with secure work through to the end of March, with the possibility of continuing beyond this.
You will be working on a range of kitchen installations within refurbishment and maintenance settings, carrying out both first and second fix joinery tasks. Projects span multiple sectors and offer a varied, rewarding workload as part of a skilled, professional team.
- Full kitchen fitting and installation
- First and second fix joinery on refurbishment and fit-out projects
- Fitting doors, frames, skirting, architraves, window boards & flooring
- Partitioning, boxing-in, and general carpentry repairs
- Installing ironmongery and completing any required adjustments
- Delivering work to a high standard, on schedule, and in line with site safety requirements
- Working independently or within a team, communicating effectively with supervisors, clients, and other trades
- Maintaining tools and a clean, safe working area
- NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent/time-served)
- Proven experience in refurbishment, fit-out, or maintenance work (not new build)
- Competent in both first and second fix joinery and full kitchen fitting
- CSCS card preferred but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Walsall, Birmingham & Coventry
- Strong eye for detail and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely, efficiently, and with minimal supervision
