As a Plasterer at Hyde, you will be a key member of our maintenance team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to plastering, tiling and general maintenance. This role requires a versatile professional who can address a range of property needs efficiently. The successful candidate will contribute to the overall well-being of our customers by ensuring the quality and functionality of our housing units.
- Preparing surfaces for plaster application by cleaning and smoothing.
- Applying plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate techniques.
- Repairing and patching damaged or cracked plaster.
- Ensuring a smooth and uniform finish on all surfaces.
- Collaborating with other maintenance professionals to address comprehensive property needs.
- Following safety guidelines and protocols during all plastering activities.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Providing excellent customer service to customers.
- Proven experience as a plasterer, with experience in residential plastering.
- Knowledge of various plastering techniques and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Multi trade experience is desirable
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour.
- Valid driver\'s licence.
