A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Specialist Pharmacist for Medicines Advice & Medicines Use & Safety. This permanent, remote role involves delivering services to support NHS organizations in medicines optimization, managing national drug shortages, and providing resources. Senior Specialist Pharmacist Medicines Advice & Medicines Use & Safety (Band 8a). Permanent, 1.0 WTE, fully remote work expected. Hosted by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust within NHS Specialist Pharmacy Service (SPS).
Location: Liverpool (remote working from anywhere). Salary: £55,690 - £62,682 per annum. Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Job reference: 287-PPU-8-25. Department: LUH - 1 General Staffing (AFC posts). Site: Pharmacy Practice Unit.
Medicines Use and Safety (MUS) and Medicines Advice (MA) teams provide guidance, support, and resources to NHS organisations and practitioners to promote safe medicines use and medicines optimisation across the pathway.
