About the Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join a well-established and supportive firm in Bristol, specialising in Care Proceedings and public law children matters.

This position offers genuine flexibility, it can be carried out on a fully remote basis or with a hybrid arrangement from the Bristol office, making it ideal for those seeking balance while continuing to handle high‑quality, meaningful family law work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of public law children and care proceedings matters
  • Represent parents, children, and guardians in court
  • Liaise effectively with local authorities, Cafcass, and other professionals
  • Provide empathetic, practical, and accurate legal advice
  • Ensure compliance with Legal Aid and SRA regulations
  • Maintain excellent client care and professional standards
About You:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in care proceedings and public law children work
  • Confident advocate with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Organised, self‑motivated, and able to manage a busy caseload independently
  • Children Panel membership is desirable but not essential
