Remote F5 Migration Engineer: LTM/WAF to rSeries
Job summary
A leading British bank is seeking an experienced F5 Engineer for a remote role. The position involves migrating F5 VE devices to the newer F5 rSeries architecture, ensuring minimal service disruption during the transition. Candidates should be proficient in F5 BIG-IP platforms and have a strong understanding of network protocols. This project focuses on virtual migration activities without requiring physical infrastructure work, thus demanding skills in troubleshooting and deploying configurations.
Qualifications
- Proficient in F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM and GTM/DNS.
- In-depth understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS).
- Experience in deploying F5 solutions and executing migrations.
Responsibilities
- Migrate F5 VE devices to the newer F5 rSeries tenant architecture.
- Ensure continuity and minimize disruption during migration activities.
