Job summary
A financial services firm is seeking a Risk Management professional to oversee the first line of defence in risk management. You will partner with business units to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across various categories. The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications and experience in the industry, particularly in insurance. This permanent position is remote.
Qualifications
- Achieved or working towards a relevant risk-related qualification from an appropriate accredited body.
- Experience and knowledge of working in financial services, preferably in an insurance company.

- Provide oversight on risk management processes and controls.
- Support enhancement of risk management framework.

- Provide oversight and challenge on first-line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making across operational, financial, conduct, and insurance risk areas.
- Support the enhancement and execution of the company’s risk management framework, ensuring it is effectively applied in day-to-day operations.
- Lead risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), develop risk assessments, and conduct risk appetite monitoring with first-line stakeholders.
- Achieved or working towards a relevant risk-related qualification from an appropriate accredited body
- Experience and knowledge of working in financial services, preferably in an insurance company
