Job summary
A local authority in South Yorkshire is looking for a passionate Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor to provide legal advice and support on a remote basis. The ideal candidate must be a qualified lawyer with a practising certificate in the UK and substantial experience in Adult Social Care Law. Duties include attending virtual hearings, advising officers, and mentoring team members. This role is for an initial 3-month period with the potential for extension, offering up to £65 per hour.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid practising certificate in the UK.
- Post-qualification experience in Adult Social Care Law required.
- Experience in public sector organization is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on all aspects of Adult Social Care Law.
- Attend and advocate complex cases in virtual hearings.
- Mentor and train less experienced team members.
