We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist to join our well-establishedComplex Psychological Interventions (CPI) Service in Bristol. The post holder will provide psychological interventions (assessment, therapy,supervision and consultation) to the Inner City and East Assessment and Recovery Team.

As well as working closely with the Recovery Team, you will receive excellent support and supervision from more senior and well establishedCPI members. There will be opportunities for regular connection to the wider CPI, including opportunities for continuing professionaldevelopment and development of innovative research projects.

For this role you will be working with the The Complex Psychological Interventions Service (CPI). The CPI is comprised of multidisciplinaryprofessionals, including Clinical Psychologists, Arts Psychotherapists, Medical Psychotherapists and Specialist Nurses. Staff are located in a central hub (at Callington Road Hospital), as well as at community mental health team bases. CPI provide a range of services directly to people who use our service. The CPI also offers supportive functions to staff teams that are designed to enhance the interventions delivered by teams, as well as contributing to the resilience and well-being of staff. We are particularly keen to receive applications from candidates with experience and training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

CLINICAL To provide a psychology service to the designated team including assessment and therapy both for individuals and groups as appropriate. To provide a specialist consultancy service to multidisciplinary teams and other agencies providing care for the client group. To participate in generic team duties as agreed by the operational manager and Complex Interventions Service Lead as appropriate, to the needs of the service. To participate in clinical and caseload supervision arrangements provided by the Complex Psychological Interventions Service. To maintain accurate records and to monitor clinical workload using agreed systems. To ensure timely recording of all data required by the Trust. To support the full implementation of the Your Team, Your Conversation, Your Planframework, acting as keyworker as appropriate to the needs of the service.

• Doctoral Clinical/Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent
• HCPC Registration
• Eligible for Chartered Psychologist status
• Evidence of working with a range of individuals with complex mental health problems
• Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team in an NHS setting
• Assessment and therapeutic interventions with client group, including CBT
• Experience of developing and delivering teaching/training
• Experience of DBT or a willingness to engage in training in DBT
• Experience of offering clinical supervision and/or of facilitating reflective practice sessions for multidisciplinary staff
• Ability to carry out neuropsychological assessment and report writing
