Claims Co-Ordinator

Department: Claims Management

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time

Location: Home United Kingdom

Description

To undertake the setting up of new claims, coordination of appointments for field staff nationwide. Administrative tasks, along with assisting with obtaining supplier reports and payments. To ensure all claims are handled in accordance with both the Clients requirements and within the policies and procedures of the Davies Group.

Key Responsibilities

The role holder will be required to:

  • To effectively undertake work allocated to you by your Team Leader
  • Set up New Claims on the claims system
  • First contact to Policyholders on behalf of our clients
  • Arrange and book appointments on behalf of the field staff within Service Level Agreements(SLA)
  • Coordinate visits and appointments to ensure best use of resource and money
  • Maintain documentation such as spreadsheets to ensure compliance with our clientrequirement
  • Ensure sound level knowledge of Client SLA
  • Assist the field team in completing, reports, tasks and answering calls where necessary
  • Ensure referral of work to the field team throughout the day, ensuring correct priorities arecommunicated and completed and that targets are met on a daily basis
  • Maintaining claims on relevant IT systems to the highest possible standard
  • Ensure work is completed to the required standard
  • Actively promote the principle of Treating Customer Fairly, utilise knowledge obtained ofinsurance policies
  • Adhere to all Davies systems and procedures
  • Undertake any other tasks that are reasonably assigned you from time to time
  • Maintain a high level of personal competence
  • Respond to requests and tasks set by the Team Leader or Head of Subsidence and Surveying
  • Undertake any other tasks that are reasonably assigned to you from time to time
