Overview

Senior Legal Consultant – Commercial Contracts (Remote | Day Rate | Full-Time Preferred)

Air Legal is looking to recruit a Senior Legal Consultant to work on a part-time or full-time, fully remote and flexible basis. Engagement is on a day-rate basis (via umbrella or limited company), dependent on experience. Suitable for lawyers with around 3–8 years’ PQE (PQE is provided as a guide only and applications from candidates with more or less experience will be considered). Full-time availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and negotiate commercial contracts and NDAs within strict turnaround times (24–48 hours).
  • Complete contract reviews in line with client playbook standards.
  • Act as key legal advisor in negotiations with financial services and investment clients.
  • Drive efficiencies in contract review and negotiation processes.
  • Work independently while managing workload effectively.
Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer (UK or common law jurisdiction).
Preferred Competencies
  • Transactional experience in-house or in private practice.
  • Strong background in commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, data privacy agreements, MSAs, service agreements, and NDAs.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and deliver consistently under time pressure.
